Sound of a blessed spermwhale THE ADVENTURE WITH
THE BIG SPERMWHALE
(Phiseter macrocephalus)
This rescue appened in summer of 1981 in
Mediterraneo Sea in souht of Tirreno Sea near Eolie archipelag between Lipari,Salina and
Panarea Islands . My team of G.R.O. SUB underwater photographers found a big spermwhale in
trap of nets , he were just breathing but he was diig! ! We cut the net whith ours knifes
and save the smermwhale after some hours of strong work .
This were the first (and pereaps the only)rescue of a big spermwale in all the world of
wich exists also a photographic documentation !
